Educational Requirements & Experience
Diploma or Degree in Food Science/Technology or 3-year Diploma: Advanced Culinary Arts, / Diploma in Food Preparation & Cooking or equivalent.
1 – 5 years’ work experience as a Product Developer
Strong NPD background with a demonstrated record of delivery
Key Responsibilities
Upgrade and Develop new innovative, cost effective & factory orientated products for the site.
Help drive & initiate profitable growth of allocated categories through innovative product development and upgrades.
Project management of critical path with various teams to enable successful launches in line with customer agreements
Customer presentations:-Highly professional product presentations, that deliver & exceed customer expectations on Product quality and documentation.
Clear timeous communication: both with the customer and colleagues.
Ensuring NPD Recipes and documentation is captured and up to date against given timelines.
Local and Global Market awareness TRENDS, constantly being aware of the market, trends & competition. Identifying GAPS and new opportunities to grow the business.
Customer Relationship, Project Management & Clear Communication at multiple levels.
