Duties & Responsibilities
Initiate, plan, coordinate, and execute projects effectively.
Monitor project timelines, costs, and budgets while reporting on the financial status.
Review deliverables, identify risks, and develop strategies for mitigation.
Collaborate with the engineering manager and stakeholders to ensure alignment across all aspects of the project and machine reliability.
Provide technical guidance and maintain comprehensive documentation for the project.
Optimize performance and reduce costs throughout the asset lifecycle.
Implement predictive & preventive maintenance strategies to enhance assets’ reliability
Review PM schedules as necessary, adjust based on RCA and new equipment.
Provide technical guidance and maintain machines and project documentation.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality guidelines.
Conduct and facilitate RCAs to address recurring issues and enhance reliability.
Optimize maintenance schedules based on reliability trends in CMMS and Shopware.
Record daily activities in Shopware and train stakeholders on CMMS and Shopware.
Update statutory maintenance requirements (OSHACT, HACCP, ISO) in Shopware.
Prepare for internal and external audits, including those conducted by Marsh and the Department of Labour.
Generate concise reports and data trends weekly and monthly for decision-making.
Report and address any health, safety, and hygiene deviations promptly.
Update procedures to align with Engineering Works for FSSC compliance.
Communicate with Central Stores regarding critical spare parts availability.
Store all drawings, manuals, and software for equipment in an accessible manner.
Keep the asset register updated according to company policy.
Manage team working hours, overtime, and leave.
Hold regular meetings to ensure maintenance schedules and targets are met.
Monitor costs per asset against reliability KPIs.
Plan and schedule maintenance tasks with all stakeholders.
Desired Experience & Qualification
The ideal candidate should have the following:
Grade 12 & Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechatronic)
Minimum 5 Years’ experience in the manufacturing industry in a similar role
Knowledge of computerised maintenance system
Computer literacy, MS Office (WORD/ EXCEL/OUTLOOK)
