Duties
Supporting data-driven decision-making and providing valuable insights to the Human Resources (HR) function.
Collecting, analysing and interpreting HR data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for improving HR processes and initiatives.
Data Analyses & Reporting: Gather and analyze HR data from various sources, including HRIS systems, develop reports, dashboards and visualizations to present data insights to HR teams, management and other stakeholders.
Data-Driven Recommendations: Identify patterns and trends in workforce data, such as turnover, absenteeism, and employee satisfaction, to inform strategic planning.
Leveraging Culture & Diversity: Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop customized reports and analytics to meet their needs.
Participate in HR projects and initiatives related to data analytics, including HR system implementations, process improvements, and automation as requested by project leads. Stay updated with HR trends, industry benchmarks, and best practices to enhance HR data analysis capabilities.
Minimum Requirements
National Diploma or BSc degree in Data Analytics
6 years’ proven experience as a Systems / HR Data Analyst or similar role.
Ability to create clear and concise reports, dashboards and visualizations using tools like
Excel, Tableau or Power BI.
Excellent MS Office skills; SAGE 300 payroll operating systems experience advantageous.
Ability to convert business requirements into functional / technical specifications, linked to
HRIS systems and reporting, including best practices for data loading and extraction into
and out of the data warehouse environment.
Strong analytical mindset
Proficiency in data analysis tools
Ability to translate complex HR data into meaningful reports and presentations.
This includes first line systems support and end-user training.
