The Opportunity
The Head of Marketing is responsible for leading the company’s marketing strategy and execution.
This role involves overseeing all aspects of marketing, from brand management and product marketing to digital marketing and communications.
The ideal candidate will have a strategic vision, creativity, and a data-driven approach to achieve business objectives.
The applicant will work closely with leadership and other departments to drive growth, improve brand presence, and deliver consistent messaging across all channels.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement marketing strategy: Design and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goals, targeting business growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
• Lead and manage the marketing team (12 staff) : Supervise, mentor, and inspire a team of marketing professionals, ensuring high performance and collaboration.
• Brand management: Strengthen the company’s brand identity and positioning through consistent messaging and innovative campaigns across all platforms.
• Digital marketing: Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, content marketing, and social media, optimizing for engagement and conversion.
• Product marketing: Collaborate with product and sales teams to create effective go-to-market strategies, product launches, and customer messaging.
• Market research and analysis: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies, providing(ROI, KPIs), and actionable insights.
• Campaign management: Plan, execute, and evaluate multi-channel marketing campaigns to ensure they align with business objectives.
• Performance metrics and reporting: Track marketing performance metrics prepare regular reports for senior management to ensure marketing efforts deliver results.
• Budget management: Manage the marketing budget, allocate resources effectively, and ensure maximum ROI on all marketing investments.
• Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with sales, product development, customer service, and other departments to align marketing initiatives with overall company strategy.
• Public relations and communications: Oversee public relations efforts, including media relations, corporate communications, and crisis management strategies.
Required qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)

Required skills and experience
• 7+ years of senior leadership experience in marketing leadership roles
• Experience scaling up / growing an organisation is necessary
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO/SEM, and CRM systems
• Marketing experience in travel and tourism is advantageous, but not required
• Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies
• Experience with global marketing strategies
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
• Experience with market research, data analysis, and marketing analytics tools
• Ability to manage budgets and demonstrate ROI from marketing campaigns
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing external agencies
